In their Actors on Actors series, Variety brings together two of our favorite performers, Courtney B. Vance and Tracee Ellis Ross, to interview each other about their work.

Vance is a shoe-in for every award imaginable for his portrayal of Johnnie Cochran in American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson and Ross stars as Rainbow Johnson on the critically ac aclaimed ABC comedy Black-ish.  Both series navigate the role race plays in shaping our thoughts on important issues.

The two have a wide-ranging dialogue that begins with their introduction to acting.
