Expect to see more and more promo as we get closer to the December 19 opening of 'Annie' starring Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, and Cameron Diaz. And with each trailer I see, my excitement to see 11-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis in her first starring role in a big budget, widely released film.

Quvenzhané Wallis has accomplished more than most kids her age. At 9 years old, she became a household name as the youngest actress ever to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her role as Hushpuppy in the 2013 film, "Beasts of the Southern Wild." Now, at age 11, she's set to star as the titular character in a remake of "Annie," the iconic 1982 movie adapted from the Broadway musical by the same name.

This is easily the one film I'm most excited for this year. 'Annie' starring Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz will come to theaters in December. A teaser was released earlier this year, but now we've got the full trailer, and it looks adorable.

The film stars little Quvenzhané alongside Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks (the new-age Daddy Warbucks) and Cameron Diaz as Miss Hanigan.

Quvenzhané Wallis Stars in Maserati Super Bowl Commercial

Quvenzhane Wallis is having a heck of a year. The 10 year-old star of the upcoming film "Annie" was tapped for a Super Bowl commercial for Maserati.
The Oscar-nominated actress was the star of the ad that carried the tagline of “We Have Prepared. Now We Strike" for Maserati’s Ghibli model.
