The much talked about Aaliyah biopic will finally air on Lifetime this weekend. Truthfully, the film looks like a train wreck, and with Wendy Williams as a producer it's sure to be as salacious as basic cable will allow.

Lifetime will soon be airing a small screen adaptation of Terry McMillan's bestseller A Day Late and a Dollar Short. The film stars Whoopi Goldberg and Ving Rhames as an estranged couple and Anika Noni Rose, Kimberly Elise, Tichina Arnold, and Mekhi Phifer as their adult children.
