Nikki Giovanni Discusses Her Love of Hip Hop, Desire for Gun Control, and Admiration of Beyoncé

Not sure how I missed this sit down between Sway and Nikki Giovanni, but back in December, Giovanni sat down to promote her latest book Chasing Utopia: A Hybrid.

In the interview, she discusses her love for Tupac and Jay Z, her admiration of Beyoncé, and her desire for tougher gun control after the shooting at Virginia Tech.



Giovanni was honest and relatable which was a delight to watch. It's always nice when icons are just as amazing as you imagine them.
