Womanist Scholars Discuss the Fight for Equity in the Black Church and Religious Study

In this short documentary directed by filmmaker Anika Gibbons, noted womanist scholars Kelly Brown Douglas, Katie Cannon, and Emilie Townes discuss their calling to deconstruct the racism, sexism, and classism within the Black Church and in the field of religious study.

All of the women, including the filmmaker, studied at Union Theological Seminary.
