Mo'ne Davis Meets Some of Her Favorite WNBA Players

Little league pitcher Mo'ne Davis rose to prominence because of her impressive talents on the baseball diamond, but she told Sports Illustrated, for her cover profile, that she dreams of playing basketball for the University of Connecticut and hopes to one day play professionally.

Before the seasoner opener for the Minnesota Lynx and the Phoenix Mercury, Davis said she particularly wanted to meet former UConn star Maya Moore, "I've been watching since she was playing for UConn and when she won the women's championship, so it would be nice."  And that's exactly what she did. Moore even signed Davis' shirt.
