Shonda Rhimes, arguably the most powerful woman in television, was given the Shelly Lansing Award for leadership by The Hollywood Reporter. In her acceptance speech, she explained that she should not be celebrated for the breaking glass ceiling because she has only built on the work done by other folks who've paved the way.
