After innocently posting a photo of her child on Facebook, mother Kyra Pringle watches as the world cyberbullies her daughter Mariah in the creation of a vicious internet meme.
The circulating meme makes fun of Mariah's physical appearance. Mariah is diagnosed with Chromosome Two Duplication Syndrome, a disorder that results in impairment of motor functions and development.
In an interview, Pringle expresses her anger and disappointment in reaction to the meme:
The smile that you guys think is funny or the smile that you guys are comparing to a leprechaun...the things you guys are saying about my child, she's not a monster, she's real."
