Jazmine Sullivan Delivers a Moving Cover of Nina Simone's "Baltimore"

Nina Simone always spoke to the challenges Black people face. Her song "BALTIMORE," released in 1978, is a timely reminder that the problems are not new.  Baltimore experienced a similar uprising in 1968.


Jazmine Sullivan brings some of her best vocals to this cover that will appear on the soundtrack of the documentary of Simone's life. "What Happened, Miss Simone?" will appear on Netflix on June 26.
