Award winning filmmaker and writer dream hampton's latest film tells the story of Shelley "Treasure" Hilliard, a 19-year-old transgender woman from Detroit whose brutal murder has yet to be prosecuted as a hate crime. This film honors Treasure's life and her community's dedication in seeking justice for transgender people of color while exploring "projections and perceptions…communities misrepresented and misunderstood.”
