Sarah Jones is an exceptionally talented playwright and performer whose theatrical shows have been wowing audiences for years. What makes Jones unique is that she develops and embodies a number of characters from varying backgrounds through research, and then presents them in her one woman shows.
This has rightfully earned Jones the title of "polymorphic playwright."
In a recent TED Talk presentation, the incredible thespian performed an excerpt of her newest show, Sell/Buy/Date, which tackles human trafficking and the sex industry. Through five expertly crafted characters, Jones gives an insight into what folks of the future may think of our current cultural assumptions about gender, sexuality, and sex work.
Performances of Sell/Buy/Date are set to begin in fall 2015.
