Beyoncé Joins Fight to End Global Poverty By 2030


Beyoncé announced that she will be fighting to end global poverty and inequality for girls and women through a partnership between Global Citizen and Chime for Change.

Chime for Change, a global campaign to raise funds and awareness for girls and women around the world, co-founded by Beyoncé, will be creating hundreds of education, health, and justice initiatives for girls and women across the globe.

Beyoncé will be headlining the 2015 Global Citizen Festival on Saturday, September 26th on the Great Lawn in Central Park in NYC. The festival will highlight the new global goals of the United Nations, a plan to end extreme poverty worldwide by 2030.
