Jennifer Hudson will play Shug Avery in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple set to open December 10th. The cast also features Cynthia Erivo in the role of Celie and Orange is the New Black's Danielle Brooks as Sofia. Hudson gives a preview of her incredible take on the song "Too Beautiful for Words" for the revival musical in the video below.
