Crissle Hilariously Explains How Harriet Tubman Outsmarted Slave Owners During the Civil War

Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer stars as Harriet Tubman in the latest episode of "Drunk History" on Comedy Central. On the episode, comedian Crissle West drunkenly explains how Tubman and her "army of bad bitches" raided slave owners' plantations in South Carolina.
An inebriated Crissle tells the story of Harriet Tubman like you've never heard it before. "At first she was like a regular person like a nurse, and that's when she was like, 'I know I can do better than this. I know I can free way more slaves than what you're doing right now,'" Crissle says as Octavia Spencer mouths her words.
Although the sketch is one of the funniest renditions of Tubman's story that we've ever heard, Crissle still manages to celebrate Tubman's amazing legacy.
