Nineteen year-old Jasilas Wright (above right) was found dead on Interstate 10 in New Orleans when passing motorists called authorities alerting them of what they thought was a dead dog lying on the road. The news of Wright's death comes just a week after Kaylan Ward (above left), a sixteen year-old girl, was found dead on the same interstate.

Sixteen year old Kaylan Ward of New Orleans was killed last week while attempting to cross the interstate in the dark of the night. Her mother spoke during a vigil honoring the teen's life, stressing to the teenagers present the importance of listening to their parents.
