Black Girls Code was founded with the intent of bringing more black girls and women into the technology field. Founder Kimberly Bryant takes her organization across the country and holds coding workshops. These sessions are often the girls first introduction to app design and programming.

Black Girls Code: The Series will feature the stories of young, black women exploring the potential unlocked the tech field. The program introduces girls to coding and web design where their presence is desperately needed.
