Shanesha Taylor has been custody of her children by an Arizona court.
The mother of two made headlines for leaving her children in a car while she was interviewing for a job when unable to find childcare. After her arrest in March, a judge ordered her children into care of family under the supervision of Child Protective Services and agreed to drop the charges against her after she completed a diversion program.
"I finally breathed. I don't think I breathed for three days before that," said after leaving the court.
"She's been doing everything right," her lawyer Benjamin Taylor said. "She's been doing everything the judge told her to do and she's a veteran of the United States Air Force."
