Actress Detained by Police for Refusing to Show ID Speaks Out

Last week, Daniele Watts was detained by police after she refused to identify herself to police in Studio City, California. Watts and her boyfriend Brian Lucas alleged that the officers accosted Watts because they believed her to be a sex worker.

TMZ now reports that witnesses called the police to report the actress and her boyfriend having sex  in their car.

Watts and Lucas appeared on CNN to discuss the incident. Host Michaela Pereira questioned the couple about the specifics of the incident and why Watts refused to show ID.
