Serena Williams Stars in a Powerful New Ad for Beats by Dre

Serena Williams is one of the most influential Black women in sports, and despite her many setbacks, she comes back year after year and proves she's a fierce competitor.


The 18-time Grand Slam champion stars in a new commercial for Beats by Dre where we see her training with Sunni Patterson’s verse from 2 Chainz’s “Black Unicorn” as the soundtrack. You'll also see shots of a neighborhood reminiscent of the where she and her sister grew up in Compton, California.

This ad is just as beautiful as the one Under Armour produced earlier this year that stars dancer Misty Copeland.
