Samaria Rice appeared on Good Morning America today to discuss the recent killing of her 12-year-old son by Cleveland police officers. Rice, sitting beside her attorney Benjamin Crump, explained that she is looking for nothing less than a conviction of the officer who killed Tamir.
She also revealed some more shocking details after the afternoon. She says her 14-year-old daughter was tackled, handcuffed, and placed in the back of a squad car when she arrived at the scene. I cannot even fathom the ineptitude and insensitivity of the officers responsible for Tamir's death.
