Watch This New Grad Get the Graduation Surprise of a Lifetime

2015 Brenau University graduate Debra Cooper didn't know that she was in for the surprise of her life during her graduation ceremony. As she sat waiting to receive her diploma for a Master of Occupational Therapy degree, she believed her daughter, Staff Sgt. Markita James, was serving in Afghanistan.

During his opening remarks, University President Ed Schrader gave a special thanks to all the veterans, specifically Cooper, who served in the United States army. The University President then let Cooper know that her daughter returned from Afghanistan to be with her mother at graduation. The moment the pair unite is incredible!
