Tyra Banks Courageously Shares About Struggling to Start a Family

Fertility issues are often hard to talk about, especially on national TV. But Tyra Banks courageously  shared her experience of struggling to start a family on her new daytime talk show "FABLife."


Model Chrissy Teigen started the conversation when she opened up about being unsuccessful in trying to have children with her husband John Legend. "I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble," Teigen said

41-year-old Banks also opened up about her struggles. "I am so tired of seeing on my social media, 'Why don't you have kids?'" she said. "'Why don't you have kids?' You don't know. You don't know what I'm going through."

"When I was 23 years old, I used to tell myself, 'In three years I'm gonna have kids,'" Banks said. "Then I turned 24. 'In three years I'm gonna have kids.'"

"Then just every single year I kept saying that," she continued. "And then, after a while it's like, 'OK, now I want to' — and it's not so easy," Banks said as she teared up.
