Kerry Washington Dishes on Making that Epic Apple Commercial

Apple premiered the first of three commercials starring Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington, and Mary J. Blige during the Emmys and we couldn't get enough of it!

Washington explained how the commercial came to be during a Sirius XM Town Hall session. “It’s hard to explain how much fun it was,” Washington said. She explained that director Ava DuVernay asked her, Henson, and Blige about their favorite songs and filming ended up being “like four girlfriends getting together to reminisce.”
