Last month, Solange scored her very first number one album with her melodic ode to Blackness, "A Seat at the Table." Solange delivered her first televised performances in support of the project on Saturday Night Live.

She arrived in all white with band and background singers in tow to sing the closest things to singles we've gotten so far.

For "Cranes in the Sky" and "Don't Touch My Hair" the singer brought to life the album's lush instrumentation and authenticity with heartfelt performances.

She even recreated the infamous bop from the music video with British singer-songwriter Sampha for her final selection.

After the show, Solange tweeted her thanks for the opportunity. "I had a great time, even through the imperfections & nervousness!" she wrote.

Of course Ms. Tina stanned for her youngest daughter. She took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes moments.
