Sesame Street Updates the Classic Skit "I Can Remember"

40 years ago, the 4th season of Sesame Street aired a clip featuring a little, Black girl who was sent to the store to retrieve three important items for her mother. The original version of "I Can Remember" aired for years, but now there's an update for younger generations.


Sadly, few parents would still send their kids to the store for pantry essentials unattended. Watch the clips below and remember the good, old days.
