Kendrick Lamar was the headliner for the Sweetgreen music festival this year, and during his performance he gave fans a chance to show their skills and love for his music onstage. One young woman was ready to rise to the occasion and join Lamar for a performance of "m.A.A.d city."
After ushering Sweetgreen co-founder Jonathan Neman offstage for not living up to the moment, Lamar remarked that he'd seen young women do much better at rapping along when joining him onstage to perform fan favorites. "Anytime I bring a young lady up here they always outdo the men," he told the crowd. It was then that he called for Ayanna to join him and she proved to be more than ready!
Ayanna was overjoyed to share the stage with Lamar and expressed thanks on her Instagram and Twitter:
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to show my gratitude for what you do. You are so amazing. @kendricklamar— Princess Bubblegum (@AmiWinehouse) May 31, 2015
