Jada Pinkett Smith Takes Raw Look at Human Trafficking In New CNN Special



An upcoming CNN special called "Children for Sale: The Fight to End Human Trafficking" features Jada Pinkett Smith traveling to Atlanta for a look at human trafficking happening here in the United States.


The hour-long special is explores the human trafficking industry, the lives of children who become entangled within it, and individuals who are fighting to stop it. Pinkett Smith also speaks with survivors who share their stories of exploitation and eventual survival from the horrid industry.

“For me, this project is extremely important because I want the world to understand the dangers that every kid in America is susceptible to,” Pinkett Smith says. “Human trafficking is one aspect of the vulnerabilities and obstacles that we are confronted with. People who sell children are monsters.”

The special airs Tuesday, July 21 at 9 pm ET/PT on CNN.
