Erykah Badu Tests Her Hustling Skills by Singing on the Streets of New York City

Soul singer Erykah Badu took to the streets of Times Square in New York to sing for money, but only unfortunately made $3.60.

In what she called a "Street Hustle Experiment" Badu went to Time Square to see what it would be like to sing for money on the one of the busiest streets in New York. The singer quickly learned that she would have to take of her signature hat in order to sing incognito. After singing her heart out Badu only received $3.60 for her efforts, enough to buy sorbet.
