While many of us would love to experience the holidays without experiencing racism, this is not always possible—especially when you are a part of an interracial family, marriage, or have white friends.
Truth is many POC are tasked with the heavy burden of having to pick and choose when to even acknowledge their loved ones racism. In a world where we must “pick our battles,” (even when we don’t want to) remaining silent is not a fair and easy task.
