James Cosby the father of Britney Cosby has been indicted on capital murder charges for the deaths of his daughter and her girlfriend, Crystal Jackson according to KHOU.

Police have tracked down two men who attacked 16-year-old Arnesha Bowers and then lit her home on fire in Baltimore. Investigators used Bowers' cell phone records to track the men down.

Police are searching for a man wanted for attempting to rape a woman early Saturday morning in the New York City Lower East Side neighborhood of Alphabet City.  The suspect followed the 25-year-old woman into her apartment at approximately 3:30am where she was able to fight off the attack.

University of Maryland graduate Mariam Folashade Adebayo was killed Monday evening outside a Germantown, Maryland Target by ex-boyfriend Donald Bricker, police say. Abedayo had recently ended the relationship and may have agreed to meet with Bricker that night after he threatened to harm himself over the breakup.

Earlier this week, a local Chicago Fox News affiliate reported an incident that took place last Friday, May 15th, in which a Chicago police officer had punched a pregnant woman. He then went on a racist tirade, including calling her a "black b****."

On the day set aside to celebrate the achievements and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King,  a woman in Chevy Chase, Maryland had her home vandalized with the words "Nigger Go Home" in red spray paint.

NBC 10 reports Witnesses heard 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither scream for help as she was forced into a dark-colored four door sedan in Germantown, PA. "I heard a whole bunch of screaming,” said witness John Wayne. “She was screaming, 'help, help!'"

After the reading of the verdict, Monica Mcbridge, Renisha's mother, spoke briefly about her feelings on the conviction of Theodore Wafer for the murder of her daughter.
